2.7. How do I setup my iPhone, iPad or Android phone/tablet for email/calendaring?

The UVa-Wise email system fully supports connections from the iPhone and Android phones.

  1. UVa-Wise E-mail Setup for Android
  2. Open Settings, select Accounts
  3. Select Add Account
  4. You will be at the Set-Up accounts menu with several other social network icons.
  5. Select Corporate Sync or Exchange ActiveSync
  6. Enter your e-mail address and password in the required fields then click Continue at the warning screen
  7. In the domain\username field enter: uvawise\username
  8. Enter the server: webmail.uvawise.edu
  9. Select Next to set your synchronization settings
  10. Click Activate to enable the device administrator
  11. Continue clicking next until the setup is complete

UVa-Wise E-mail Setup for iPhone / iPad

  1. Open Settings, select Passwords & Accounts
  2. Select Add Account
  3. Select Exchange
  4. Enter your e-mail address
  5. Select Next
  6. Select Configure Manually
  7. Enter your password
  8. Select Next
  9. Choose if you want Mail, Contacts, Calendar and Reminders on your phone
  10. Select Save
