3.1. Penalties

It is against policy and against Virginia Law to knowingly (and sometimes unknowingly) illegally use, misuse, interfere and/or modify network systems. The College's IT resource administrators reserve the right to deny you access to Computer/Network resources for violations and legally could result in fines and/or jail time based on the violation, the person could be found guilty and punishable of a Class 1 Misdemeanor up to a Class 6 Felony. 1
